George doesn't bother scraping and covering he just walks off! It usually ends up with Milly going over with a disgusted look on her face (yes a cat can have one) and doing it for him.

I had to get Tiger a covered cat litter tray as he was sending cat litter flying in all directions

Had to laugh at this, as it's exactly what my boy Dandy did ... give one vague scrape somewhere in the vicinity and hop merrily out; Misty would come as you said with a disgusted look and bury it properly!

I wouldnt mind so much "if" Tim buried it but despite all his scrapping, its still sitting large as life on top of the litter
