Re: sounds

My cat Tiger comes running if he hears the tin opener because it could be tuna, or if I put the kettle on because I will be taking the milk out of the fridge and if I make an ooh sound because that signals a pouch or a nice treat for him

Re: sounds

Leia runs at the sound the dry food makes when being poured from the bag into the metal canister.

Re: sounds

If i call "dinner" & wave a sachet of Felix they both come running or shake tub of Whiskas Sensations. About 80-85% of the time if i call their names, they will come

Re: sounds

I love hoovering and my cats hate the sound of it! They go crazy and always run off and hide in the wardrobe or under the quilt.

They always hear a tin of tuna being opened - I am not sure how they know that it is tuna but they are always around when I am opening one.

Finally, at night time, when they hear the fridge door open they know that I am getting their cat milk ready and they wait in the dining room or kitchen until I put it down for them.

Re: sounds

Yes, sorry niki! My lovely wee Smudge was the only one who made anything of my whistling. She used to put her paw on my lips until I stopped. She'd obviously heard the saying "A whistling woman, a crowing hen is neither good for God nor men"!

Sad really - my OH doesn't like my singing either!
