Thanks Karen, its quite true..i was looking through some photos yesterday actually..and it seems so long ago he was that little, that fat, that innocent..we were lucky, we had a good summer when he first came..so he really was allowed to feel his feet in the big wide world

Re: The Versatile Faces Of An English Springer..

Her ex husband brought two Springer Spaniel pups - but did not have the time, energy, inclination brain power to do anything so locked them in the garden and the shed. The children are only allowed at his home every month so Gaynor never found about the pups till last month, she went round saw the state they were in paid him £500 - he paid £1000 for the two. Got him to sign them over etc etc so they are hers, and she has given one to her Mom (who has the elderly Siamese in my road) its been many years since she had a dog and when Gaynor got these two she asked for one.
Ideal really they are gorgeous smashing pups. I will see if I can get a picture. Can't remember their names thats the trouble.
Her Mom pup sits Gaynors pup on occasion too.

Karen

Re: The Versatile Faces Of An English Springer..

Well from what I understand it she had no choice. As an example her Ex hubby's idea of house training involved his belt.............will say no more, and she now has one at her own house and one is at her Mom's Gaynor said she felt responsible even though getting them was nothing to do with her.

She and her Mom are nice people the dogs will have a good life. Its go her Mom out since her Dad died suddenly of a heart attack last year her Mom has become a bit of a homebod the pup has got her walking morning, noon and night.
