New thyroid food!

Hills food company are releasing a food which controls hyperthyroidism without any medication. Apparently it has very low iodine, this will be great news for anybody with a hard to medicate cat.
The down side is that the cat has to be a house cat because it should not eat anything else, it is potentially more difficult in a multicast household and as renal failure is commonly associated with hyperthyroidism- you would need to move your cat onto a renal diet and return to medications usage if that were to happen.
Still its great for those with feisty cats.
