Re: PK..

Morning all....They both had a settled night. Claude's face is a little less swollen and he getting up and walking round a bit now but he is still not himself and seems quite 'vacant' at times. Maud is very much better and more like her old self.....those cabbage leaves really worked Jac...I'm impressed!! They are both back at the vets in half an hour so we will see what the vet thinks...

Re: PK..

Just got back from the vets and the vet is very happy with both of them. Maud is well on the mend and just has to continue with AB's. Claude has had a long acting AB jab and the vet is happy with progress made since yesterday. He definitely has had a bang of some sort as he has quite a bad graze on his chin...this was blood stained yesterday and we thought it was blood from his nose as he had a nose bleed. But all his bones are intact and his retinas and the vet cannot see any bleeding behind the eye. His pupils are reacting to light normally so it's just a case of rest and wait for the rest of the swelling to subside.....

Thanks Jac...I got a very good night's sleep and feel a whole lot better now....glad you had a good night too and the vet was very impressed with the cabbage poultice remedy!!
