Tiger

This is our special cat Tiger. Tiger is epileptic. He has seizures. They are controlled by phenobarbital. He is 8 years old. We got him and his two sisters when the next door neighbor who was taking care of them died. We have had them since they were about 9 months old. We also have the cat from the next litter, but thats another picture!

Re: Tiger

He hasn't had a seizure in four years! He goes to the vet next month to have his bloodwork done.

Re: Tiger

It's very scary when he has a seizure. He usually looses control of his bowels and bladder. Then he has to be crated for 12-24 hours to make sure he doesn't hurt himself. He always craves water after a seizure too. But, luckily he has been seizure free for 4 years.

Re: Tiger

He's a sweetie. He is definitely one of the most mellow cats we have. Of course, some of that is the phenobarbital. But he is one of the few cats who doesn't let anything bother him.
