Re: What job.....

I love it & think myself very lucky that I enjoy my work so much. It can be quite stressful at times & sometimes having to work over - this week has been a really bad week for example & on Thurs I spent the day at the vets whilst one of mine had a C/S - trying to revive pups. Home at 9pm. Then spent Fri evening fostering some pups onto another bitch. Home at 10pm. Then in work at 7am on sat & worked til 4pm.
But it's all worth it & my husband is very understanding & I have the nicest boss in the world too!

Re: What job.....

Yes - Guide Dogs is what I do full time & Cats protection fostering is what I do in my spare time as well as microchipping & looking after my family & my animals. This week has just been a bit hectic - I usually finish at 4pm but the nature of the job means I often work over & I'm on call 24/7 for whelpings. But it's a small price to pay as I love it so much. I couldn't do all of what I do without my husband - he is really good & we share all the household jobs etc (well kind of share - he gets the bigger share )
But soon I am taking a lot of time off as we are expecting puppies too!
