Re: What job.....

I am a registered nurse, I think that's why I find it so easy to talk to strangers..... I specialized in general practice but I have also worked with the elderly in hospital, did a stint on a stroke unit and did a year at a boarding school working with children.

Re: What job.....

That's a very worthwhile job PK.....and all your experience stays with you.

I worked in an accounts office in a print and packaging company.

Re: What job.....

I Don't think I would ever return to nursing now. I have a lot of experience and courses under my belt but I feel nursing these days is all about nursing computers and protecting your legal stance than it is actually looking after people All your decsions are based on how do I stand legally? It's not the profession I went into 20 years ago

Re: What job.....

i loved it till one of my last jobs involved a caravan being parked in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere. That was one of the worst jobs ever, trying to catch sheep in the dark in a field and peeing with rain with mud upto your neck

Re: What job.....

i enjoyed it and almost went back to it a few years ago. We went to a show and met Lord Falmoth who asked me to go work fulltime(hadnt seen him for about 7 years but he hadnt forgotton me ),own cottage, car very good pay.Nearly went but my hubby would of found it quite hard getting a job and was worried my son would feell isolated as this is down the far end of Cornwall.I grew up in Cornwall so know what its like ,i actually love it but think Chris would of found it hard
