Re: Freezing Friday

Hi peeps! Cold as a stick in a lolly factory here! The car was at -6 C. when I set off at 9am to get my hair done brrrr. Roads are clear though and although my car needed a check up at the garage today all was well, no cost and just an hour out of my day.

Sorry about your MIL Angie, it's hard to cope with incontinence on an emotional level, after all, it's hard work and you have to deal with very basic needs of your nearest and dearest. It's hard to be detached from the feelings it gives rise to, just stay strong. HuG.

Yola, I'm sure Myshka was definitely in that deep warm sleep, but I bet he won't get a second chance!

Take care all. Fish n chip supper here, and Tom for an overnight stay. Nice !

Re: Freezing Friday

Hi all. I feel rather foolish complaining about the weather compared to what you all are having; sunny but 3 C (36 F), so very unseasonably cold for us effete Easterners. The meteorologista re saying it's late January weather; so cold so early in the season after the lovely warm Summer. Just back from the market (in layers!), shopped enough that I won't have to go out in the cold until Monday or Tuesday. Carolyn is coming over this adternoon to help me connect the new phone to the computer.

Squirrel, hope you nip that cold in the bud and that little Cloud feels better soon. Angie, so sorry about the MIL problem, what can I say? . Pamela, Kazz, hope you both get safely to work and back. Yola, maybe add a little space heater to take off some of the chill? Emma, MrsH, nice that you can stay inside! Tink, hope all goes well at the doctors; enjoy the dinner if you at out. And enjoy the fish n chips, PP!

Stay safe, warm and upright, please, everyone!
