Thanks Mags as you know I took the grass up. I like the gravel look, it looks smart and tidy with minimum of effort and any extra time I have I spend "planting/tending" not grass cutting. Plus my garden was too small for grass really .

Re: Tulips

It's an excellent idea to keep a record of what you have growing in your garden by taking photos! Lovely tulips - we've had a longer season for tulips this year due to it being cooler than last year. They have done really well.

My garden is a mess!

Re: Tulips

As a gardener IMO flower pictures are never boring! Lovely tulips; and like the way you've used the gravel instead of mulch!

Re: Tulips

Thank you all and Angie I find it helps loads and loads when replanning/planting to have a picture to refer to rather than just your memory.

Eileen the gravel has been a Godsend honestly, I much prefer it to bark or mulch chippings.

Re: Tulips

Now you see, I love gravel but OH gets all sniffy about it and says it gets walked into the house. I may just ignore him and gravel over my horrid concrete path in the front garden.

I love you tulips - mine flopped all over the place (and went over about 2 weeks ago), yours are lovely and upright and 'standing to attention'!!
