This is a lovely time of the year. Looking East from my steps .....that's a small pink dogwood behind the azalea

And West: lilac; azaleas, dogwood ..

Thanks! Most of the older houses close to Downtown are row houses, most of the ones around here were built in the 20s and 30s. Further out is the posh part of town: detatched single family homes with green lawns and million dollar price tags!

What a shame! These were full grown, although smaller, when I bought the house 42 years ago.......our Winters aren't that severe in terms of long spells of sub-freezing weather...although they can get very cold and very snowy!

I echo what the others have said Eileen - lovely pictures, really stylish houses and a lovely looking street!

Wish that transmat kiosk was in operation, I'd love to pop over one afternoon for tea!

I can imagine you sitting in that chair DM with a glass of something, for medicinal purposes only of course, and admiring the wonderful colours.
