Cat fencing

I was wondering if any of you have got cat fencing. I am hoping to move shortly and one of the houses i am looking at might need it. How much does it cost is it easy to put up and where do you get it from and finaly does it work

Re: Cat fencing

Hi Kado,
I've got my garden cat proofed, if that's what you mean!?!?

The fencing is normal, regular wooden fence panels - the cat proof system fits on top of the fence panels and consists of metal brackets and netting.

There are a few different systems on the market now. The system that I have is made by Secur a Cat. Unfortunately they don't have a website, but if you Google them you will find a phone number to contact Ros - the lady who runs it. (You should also find links of other cat owners / breeders that have the same system and photos)

Finally - yes, it does work. My cats have never escaped and in fact they have never tried. I wouldn't be without it now, as it gives them some freedom - there is a cat flap and they can go into the garden as and when they like - but I know that they are safe and cannot get out of the garden.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Re: Cat fencing

Not the one I had in mind - as that was my old house - but it shows the fencing!! Thanks Mags

And I can confirm that it's easy to take down and re-assemble if and when you move house!!
