Arnt men funny!!!

After reading the post about the little tabby cat that was hit by a car and Shanik's hubby stopped to cuddle it. It made me think, men are not as tough as they make out.

Derek was cutting the headge at the weekend. He left two "lumps" uncut. He later told me that there were birds nests at these two points. He didn't want to look as the kids were palying in the garden at the time. I was to have a look later.
Well the birsd have raised there young and the nest's are empty. He's still loathed to cut them away. Big softy!!!!

Bet your OH has done something similar.

Re: Arnt men funny!!!

Oh gosh, that reminds me of when my Dad got his new electric hedge trimmer in the mid 70s and went at the hedge only to actually cut through a nest with terrible results. That is one of the only times I saw my Dad cry . . . he was so upset.

But yes, they are essentially softies on the whole. Although OH didn't shed a single tear over Darcy yesterday or when we left him at the vet this morning so I'm not sure if he might be the exception

Yola, dont let him fool you! I'll bet he's had a wee secret cry. He's being "srtong" for you. I didn't think Derek cryed when we lost Blue but he did. He said I was such a mess it wouldn't have helped the situation me seeing him crying too. So he did in private.
I think your husband is probably thinking along the same lines.
