I can't do theme parks and rides . . . sorry - it's my idea of hell

Cadbury's World is OK for me. Manchester's a good 4-5 hours in the car though, so a bit far . . .

What about somewhere scenic like Bridgnorth? I'm sure there would be somewhere to stay over if needed but probably most of us could do that as a (long) day's return trip?

Not sure how we could manage that logistically. The only way we could do it is for someone to scan a map with all locations in and then post it as an image but interactively I can't think how it can be done!

Cadbury World is rubbish (IMO, lol). We went there before Christmas with the girls' kids club, and I thought it was a complete waste of money!

Now that sounds good, something simple like a picnic nice day (in the School holidays maybe) and a game of rounders or similar simple, cheap and perfect.......everyone brings something to eat .

Smudgley and fellow campers could camp.

PS Where is Bridgnorth???

If it's the Bridgnorth I'm thinking of, it's near me, and there's the Severn Valley Country Park there, which is gorgeous and has loads of room for the kids to run about in.

Re: Catsey meet up

Sounds like it may all be a bit too far away for us Scotties to get to.
Am still interested and will keep a watch on this thread to find out what the plans will be, will certainly try to make it if I can.
