Poor babe. Definitely not right I hope the vet can shed some light on this tomorrow as it's very unusual behaviour for a cat.

Spoke to my vet and explained to him what has happened. He wants to wait till Salt's finished her antibiotics then see what happens but he's not holding out much hope for her

Hmmm I think maybe he should reconsider that. It she's as bad as all that I would suggest he should have another look at her. It DOES sound bad . . .

I am surprised too that the vet was just prepared to wait until she had finished her antibiotics ........... poor baby sounds a lot worse and in need of help

Sorry to hear about Salt, is she taking her antibiotics properly now? If not you should be able to get her injections of antibiotics at the vets, we were offered this when Tango refused to eat and take his antibiotics.
Hope she pulls through.
