Poppies -do you wear them?

I was wondering how many people actually wear poppies? and do you think we should carry on wearing them?

i usually attach one to the dogs collars to, is lasts a few days before it becomes ruined by the mud but then i just buy more.
its very important to remember all those who sacrificed their lives for our liberty, our liberty that seems to be so wasted due to the world in such a sad state of affairs, but thats another thread

Was going to edit my first post to add this but as I have replies I'll post it here.

I may have worded that incorrectly; I believe we should wear poppies and actually make sure I am on holiday the weekend previous to poppy day to help sell them

its just some of the remarks you get make me wonder and not from the younger generation either

I wear my poppy (as long as I remember - easier said than done) but I don't start until the week the 11th falls in.
