Dying dog breeds

Did anyone see this in the Mail today, these are the registered pups in 2007 of these breeds, and my question is when does a breed become "unsubstanable" number wise.

Skye Terrier..................37
Otterhound...................41
Greyhound....................48
Smooth Collie.................63
Sealyham Terrier............65
Field Spaniel..................67
Welsh Corgi (Cardigan).... 68
Retriever (curly coated)...81
Irish Red White Setter......93
Bloodhound....................100

The number indicates the nu,ber of pups registered in 2007

I think now Kazz with AI and the pet passport scheme dog breeds stand the best chance they ever have of remaining here for good.

Wouldn't have expected that of the greyhound!

On the other side of the coin my breed was in the top 20 this year.

Re: Dying dog breeds

They are "show" Greyhounds Random, not the racing type.
