Scab

I noticed what looks like could be a scab or really dry skin on Cheddars face where his whickers are. He lets me touch it just fine. Has anyone ever seen this?

Re: Scab

Looks like he's been scratching himself. Has he been done for fleas? How old is he now, some flea stuff is not suitable for very young kittens. If he is OK about you touching it it mustn't hurt. You could bathe it twice a day with a bit of cotton wool or soft towel dipped in a small amount of warm water with a pinch of bicarbonate of soda dissolved in it. This is a natural antiseptic and will help it heal. Poor little Cheddar, he's still a very handsome chap though.

Re: Scab

Sorry timber, I've no idea but if regular bathing doesn't clear it up, worth asking for prof. advice.
