Crusty nose

The neighbours cat with the nose discharge has indeed had Cat flu. She told me at the weekend they had their kitten vaccs - didnt seem aware that they may need more than kitten vaccs However she had had it pointed out to her that the cat may not be well and had had it for treatment

Although protected in the outdoor run Tim is still at risk so fingers crossed everyone he is able to get his vaccs - sometime in July.

Yes, indeed fingers crossed.

Velvet, will your vet do any blood test before trying to give Tim his jab?

Does he need to?

Vet said he would split the vaccs in two so that there wasnt too much vaccine going his system at any one time

I think Tim being such a stressed wee boy round strangers will find the Vet trip very traumatic. Anytime he has been to the vets, he cried the whole way there & back - 40 min journey each way. The only time he didnt have much to say, Amber was with him & the dogs lay beside his carrier.

Can just see vets face if i turn up with the whole menagerie

Re: Crusty nose

No reason - just wondered if it would help predict if the vaccine would be safe, but I guess vets do come across shock reaction and know how to deal with it.
