Re: Kizzy has been to the vet

I hope she's feeling better this morning; let us know after she wakes up.

Re: Kizzy has been to the vet

I've still not got her to hold still long enough to examine the site, but she is acting normally and eating and drinking fine. Just need to see how the hole is closing ......

Re: Kizzy has been to the vet

Kizzy seems to be acting normally, she is not worrying the site and on a very quick look the round hole seems to be a smaller oval now. I think it's healing ..... fingers crossed. Will keep an eye. Can't smell anything, but didn't have a quick enough opportunity to get my nose near enough!

She has had two and maybe three occasions of upchucking over the last three days though. I'm sure it's fur .... unlike Pip, she won't allow me to brush her and she does have a semi-long coat.

Re: Kizzy has been to the vet

That;s good news that it appears to be closing! Will she take Petromalt (I forget the brand name in the UN, the flavored gel that helps pass fur)? Patches, my furball queen wouldn't, I had to smear it on her foot to get her to take some, but she usually managed to get it off without ingesting much... Cats!
