Have they been biting at their stitches? Its usually not necessary to put those buster collars on after a routine spay... They look miserable Won't really help them settle in, you could keep the collars off when you are there. And put them back on if you go out, or at night if you think they are biting their stitches. But for their sake, try and not keep them on for the full 14 days...

Aww bless!!! I must admit mine were not given collars after their spays.. Chloe was as good as gold but Misty ate her stitches... although it didnt really matter as it was such a tiny incision.

Hope they settle in soon.

I was surprised at the size of the incision really its tiny. Sophie (rabbit) bit through hers, Mind you hers ran almost the length of her underside and I found out that my emergency vet is over an hours drive away. Really don't want to risk it. Going to leave them on for a few days its only 36 hrs since the op. They are coping well, although Ava does look fed up I agree
