I agree with Karen, volunteering takes up an awful lot of time & energy & before you know it, you can easily take on too much as I know, don't beat yourself up though, you can still be involved with the branch & maybe you will go back to fostering when things are a little better for you.

Give yourself a huge pat on the back for what you HAVE done Alex, because not many people want to or can do what you have done to help cats out there ( including me! ) I think it's great that you are prepared to still do emergency work, you show great compassion and commitment still.

Hope your health improves but time to look after #1 now.
