Lovely 15 Year Old Sootie Looking for New Home

A sad story to persuade you...

Sootie lived with a couple that have now sadly separated and can now longer look after him due to accommodation issues.

Sootie had a wife called Sweep and when the owner took the cats to a new home where they shouldn't be living anyway, Sootie managed to escape and went missing for 5 weeks - he was later found and had managed to do the distance back to the couple's old house in Feltham, Middlesex. Meanwhile Sweep missed her husband Sootie so much it is said that she actually died of a broken heart just before Sootie was found again!

Sootie has now been taken in by the original owner's sister/friend but she herself has two boy rescue cats that are not adjusting well to the newcomer.

All rescues have said Sootie is too old to rehome and will put him to sleep even though he has a clean bill of health and is a very affectionate kitty kat that loves lots of cuddles!! So effectively he is now on Death Row

If anybody can offer a home to Sootie or if you have any friends that would be interested please let me know as soon as possible!

Sooty is not litter trained and used to popping out to the garden to do his business but he is a very homely cat who doesn't spend hours outside and would rather be curled up in a lovely home.

Here is the lovely puss:

Fingers crossed!!!

Oh poor love - fingers crossed here too. And poor Sweep - RIP - what a terrible shame.

Hi Kelly

Thanks for the offer - the owner emailed me to say they had managed to find an animal shelter in Cobham where Sootie will stay until a new permanant home is found for him

Thanks for your help though - really appreciated!
