Daily thread ~ Sunday

Morning folks

It's another lovely day here, the sun is starting to burn off the early mist.

We had a lovely day with Katie yesterday, she was thrilled to bits with her first proper camera ........... we went to the zoo in the afternoon and she only took 99 photos!!!! She looked a little professional, bending down to get the right angle etc .............watch out Dawn you may have competition in the near future!!

Will be spending the afternoon pottering in the garden and making the most of this beautiful weather!

Hope the sun is shining on you, have a lovely day!

Well, it is dry and sunny today - hurrah. Have done some planting, and thinning out in the garden. Took dogs for hike over the fields, hoovered out the car and am now going to sit and watch tv with a coffee. Ironing later (yuk!)

Hi, Mags, CM! Lovely here also, sunny and already 27C, warming up nicely! We may get some rain from the remnants of Hurricane Ike later in the week; what a horrible destructive monster storm! Over 3 million people without power in the affected area, and gas prices shooting up! The scenes of devastation are unbelievable... did they show much of it on TV there?
Did the usual market run and a bit of gardening before the mosquitoes drove me inside..

Have a nice Sunday!

Re: Daily thread ~ Sunday

We have had very little coverage of Ike. Our weather forecast this morning made some mention of the tail end of the storm bringing us some strong winds and rain on Wednesday.

Had no idea it had affected so many. Makes me very glad we do not get these extreme storms here (tho' with the wat weather is changing - who knows in the future)

Have a lovely day.

CM
