Monday returns daily

Afternoon everyone, sleepy-heads or just very busy bees???

Still dry here this morning but threatening. OH and the dogs got out and back without getting wet, so only towels needed for paws and legs really.

Thanks Elaine for an enjoyable quiz last evening. I can always tell if I've had a good time because it just flies by and I don't know where the hour or so has gone. I'm not just saying that because I won! Brain was working at least

Laundry and bed this morning. I am always a bit anxious for Kizzy and Pip when I strip and re make the bed, because it's their bed too and they are usually to be found asleep on it at various times during the day, so I have to make it again fairly quickly (with OH's help) so my darlings don't have to put up with too much disturbance.

With any luck, I will manage to get a few hours in the Scriptorium this afternoon!

Have a good day folks.

Re: Monday midday

Well just a bit after…

I'm watching Bargain Hunt having a quick cup of coffee, saw there's no Daily thread today so thought I'd start one.

Not much news, I'm composing an eulogy for my aunty's funeral, there's a lot to cover in 95 years of life, but I don't want it to be too long as I will be nervous enough speaking out there. My cousin has asked if I will do it and I feel I want to, she was a staunch church goer before she fell ill, but this vicar is a new one and didn't know her.

It's dry today but both my girls are asleep indoors, it is windy though and that's probably put them off from galavanting.

Hope your quiz went well last night. Catch you later.

Re: Monday midday

Afternoon Angie and posh.

Angie, my Skye like your 2 use my bed as hers!
Posh, that's lovely of you to do the eulogy, im sure it will be very fitting.

OH is off today as we have a man coming to hopefully fix our suite we got in October as 1 of the seams has split and we have the man coming to fit bt tomorrow. Whilst OH is waiting, he is starting to.tile the bathroom.floor and I will hopefully start glossing tonight.

Re: Monday midday

Afternoon. It is indeed busy today. Not much to report, other than am hoping to get to Pilates tonight if OH picks Sebi up in time from tennis so that I can scoot off.

Cats all OK. Ripsy has become the biggest cuddle bug since being ill and insists on being carried around. Makes the muscles in my arm ache as she's no lightweight.

Must dash - lots to do. Hopefully the sun will shine for the rest of the day.
