Minsky walking on hind legs

So the other evening I had the treat bag out for the boys, and was standing talking to OH between giving them to Darcy and Minsky. They were both looking up and occasionaly hopping up onto their back legs to try and get them out my hand but then Minsky went onto his back legs and as I walked away walked after me on his backlegs for at least 7 paces. He didn't have any difficulty doing it, wasn't forcing it, he just had his eyes trained on the bag in my hand and was determined to chase after it, and seemed to forget he'd gone up onto his hind legs

It was very impressive to watch, and OH mentioned that it's a sign of great intelligence if a cat can walk on its hind legs. Especially as we didn't prompt him or teach him!

I'm going to look into cat intelligence tests online now!

I'll try and catch it on video next time he does it!
