Daily Thread Monday

Couldn't find one, so starting; apologies if I missed it.....

We made an unseasonable 21C yesterday, but it was cloudy and drizzly so not really that enjoyable. Sunny and 6 now. Off to the market to get my traditional ham for New Years dinner (already have the black eyed peas!). Nothing special on the agenda for the day.

Sorry to say Leia was unimpressed, to say the least, at her Secret Santa catnip bubbles....but mom had great fun with them...brought out my inner child!

Re: Daily Thread Monday

Hi DM - just back from taking nieces out for brunch/dinner. They are now away with OH to walk the dogs - I'm in charge of making the coffee.

Lovely day here tho' still v cold 1c just now.

Watching some DVD's tonight cuddled up on couch with a duvet and lots of sweets.

Leia does look spectacularly unimpressed - what a shame. I suppose she thinks chasing bubbles around is just not very Princess like!

Re: Daily Thread Monday

Evening all,
Back at work today, pretty quiet although we had very poorly guinea pig in needing a c-section this afternoon after being in labour for 3 days. Sadly the single baby didn't survive and mum has a very grave prognosis, she's currently sitting in a box on my bed Very poorly so she'll need tempting to eat, keeping warm etc overnight, wish me luck!
Lx

Eileen a lovely picture of Leia showing simply how interested we humans are in acting like humans while cats rise above the temptation. but allow us to be daft in their presence.

Beautifully put! I tried several times to tempt her to play....but truthfully it was because I was having fun blowing them! I doubt if I'll ever be completely grown up...
