hot flushes


im half way through the menapause not allowed any more hrt cause of the angina, get outta breath due to the angina,(its unstable angina) so for no reson im sitting her gasping for breath,bright red in the face due to the hot flushes (ppl wonder what ive been doing ) helppppppppppppppppppp im not due at the docs for another week, got a gyne appointment in march. what can a lady do???

awww must be awfull for you. mymum has ischeamic heart disease so cant have hrt and she gets bad hot flushes.
I heard evening primrose oil can hep, or is that something else lol

i would have to ask my doc if theres anything i can take from the herbal shops.

Just go with it Cathy - laugh it off (after all, you can't do anything about it and laughing is better than crying!)

So, if you go a bit pink, in company
a) don't stress about it
b) say either
- oops, tropical moment
or
- ah, power surge!

hope you get something to help. I got all this to look forward to!. dont think i'll be allowed HRt either, cos of stroke I not allowed some hormone treatments.

have you tried the HRT Cake?

I don't know too much about it but I think it was made by a female doctor who was fed up that male doctors didn't care too much about the suffering women went through during the menopause. So she did research and formed this recipe - loads of women swear by it - it probably won't give instant results but maybe worth a try.

Also include a lot of soya in your diet thats supposed to help as well.
