transplanted some of the plants into pots and they have now been put in the coldframe which is nice and warm

You seem very well organised there Emma! It's lovely to follow their progress.......right up to going on your dinner plate!
I think there is a lot of satisfaction gained from growing your own produce....you know exactly what's in them (no chemicals) and so fresh

I have been growing veg now for about 6 years and you are very right Mags that it is so nice as they are so fresh no chemicals. I have never had a problem with growing the veg as they always seem to do well (sometimes a little too well), I think the only problem I have ever had (apart from caterpillars which I always leave!! lol) is blight on some tomatoes.

Yes I thought it would be good fun to see how some of these plants and seeds grow I have grown more herbs this year which I find quite interesting.

In the coldframe I have also planted 4 of Donna's sunflower seeds she very kindly let me have
