I made a comment on yesterday's thread to this point exactly! I had a crunchie on my mind all day, but I DID NOT GIVE IN!!!!

Re: Daily thread ~ Saturday

Had my nails done this morning. Long overdue as all the lacquer had peeled of because I missed my last appointment due to the pluerisy. Nails are now a lovely bluey-purple colour (very 'this season' apparently)!

Sebi is napping after a tantrum where he refused his lunch (obviously his horns n tail are getting an airing again), and Dominik is watching Happy Feet. OH is moving furniture into Dominik's new room and I'm on here

My brother's coming round later and then we're going to take Domi for his riding lesson later this afternoon. Cats have had an airing (even Balie) and are all now kipping in various corners of the house; Fifi here on the desk next to the PC

Sipcy chorizo sausage, chunky mushroom and potato casserole for dinner tonight methinks!

Re: Daily thread ~ Saturday

Afternoon all. I have this weekend off and could have slept all morning but Eva decided to come and start biting me to make me get up and feed her. Galeforce winds here and very cold, lights have had several flickers. Eva wanted, no Eva DEMANDED to be let out to see for herself just how bad the weather was. She doesnt beleive I word I tell her . Anyway she very soon got the shock of her life as the wind lifted her fluffy tail and almost carried her off, a garden chair flew across the garden and that was enough danger for the Diva to change her mind about hunting mices .
Have done most of the housework and caught up on washing and shopping.
Emma and her son Keiran dropped by for a coffee this morning while I was cleaning out Midges tank. Midge was happily running around in her little red car. Keiran exclaimed that he loved her which was very cute but then disaster struck. I went to the kitchen to get fresh water and food for her, Emma followed chatting and as we returned to the lounge there was Keiran, hand on Midges car and before we could say NOOOOO he had pushed the car with poor Midge rolling around inside it . Needless to say Keiran got a telling off while i saw to Midge. Fortunately she is ok but was a little stressed. She is sleeping now, I will give her another check over when she becomes active again.

Predicted rain not as bad as they said,,,did rain overnight, but was OK this morning so did do my library run. Can't get the book yet as I laid the tote bag on the floor while I was taking off my jacket and Leia promptly sat on it and went to sleep! Still there, an hour later, happily dozing...... cats! Gotta love 'em!

EB: sympathy on the moving probs I moved once in my life and that was enough!!
Matron: pics!!!!!!
Angie: good luck with PB, so annoying when ii won't cooperate. Glad the new mouse and keyboard are satisfactory.
Elaine: poor Midge...and poor Eva too, no mice today!

Sorry the weather sounds so awful in Scotland; stay safe, people!

Re: Daily thread ~ Saturday

Evening all!

What a day it's been. The weather has been appalling. Continually sheets of rain and wind strong enough to move me a few feet to the right or left (although I am a wee lass). I went to Tesco's around 6pm for some cat litter, and there were 10 buckets all across the store, catching leaking rain water!! Darcy and Minsky have been perturbed slightly by it, sitting at the window and mrrping at the leaves whipping by and the rain lashing against the window. At least they didn't have to head out in it Angie, I haven't seen the Daily Mail headlines, but it has been pretty shocking!

Matron, I got the M&S deal too! We got hte chicken pie and mash, and the same choc pudding as you - divine! I bought some vanilla cream to go with it So I'll be snuggled up with that with the X-Factor tonight too, although minus a new kitty! Have a wonderful evening with him, do post up photos!

Didn't manage to get to the paint shop in time this morning before it closed, so plans to paint the hall tomorrow are out the window. Will maybe just take it easy, if the weather's as bad as it was today won't really be able to do anything outwith the flat anyway!

Hope everyone has a lovely evening

I've got a new keyboard and mouse - they are all different touch aren't they? MUCH BETTER than previous one. At least everything seems to work!

Off now to try and copy a photo from photobucket to the Tabby thread. Got upset last night as it would not work. Fingers crossed!

Catsey peeps in Scotland - I really hope that the weather is not as bad as the forecast. I can't believe the Daily Mail headlines this morning - scare-mongering should be banned IMO. Look at the Met Office for a balanced picture - it's not nice, but nothing as bad as the Mail is predicting.

Have a good day everyone.
I have no idea - showed your comment to my other half anf he asked what on earth I had been telling everyone to give them that idea

Perhaps if I admit the material was bought 6 - 8 months ago as a summer project, you'll get the idea!!

I am always full of good ideas and genuine intention, it's just my days seem to be shorter than everyone elses!!
