Hello folks, my name is Jim and I'm from Scotland. I own one cat who is 19 years old and called Sooty. She is a Maine Coon and has been with myself and my wife all her life as we owned her mother.

I suspect some people here may already know me from Over 50s Forum, but my username is slightly different over there. I did try and register with the same name but it seems the word used "over there" isn't allowed here.

I can't really think of anything else to say... I suppose I'll leave this here and go and have a look at the rest of the forum.

Hello Jim. I'm also registered on Over50s, but like PoshPuss, only seem to post on here (and a couple of breed specific dog forums). I'm also registered on dogsey but don't post there much either. Life gets in the way .....

Anyway, welcome. I'd love to see a picture of Sooty. My two cuddlebugs are pictured above. Kizzy is the tabby (well torbie really) and Pip the G&W.
