:cat9 Kittens dirty looking nose...

Oli has got like a black discharge that doesnt actually run from his nose, it just dries up and looks like he has a scab on his nostril.

I wet a cotton bud with warm water & wipe it away daily. It doesnt seem to affect him & its been going on for a couple of weeks now.

Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks in advance...

I have never come across anything like a black discharge coming from a cat's nose..... maybe a visit to the vet is called for?

this happened to one of my cats once it only lasted about a week though - maybe best for a wee trip to the vets just to make sure.

Hopefully it will disappear by itself then. Oli is going to the vets on Friday to be castrated, so another thing to add to the list...
* Catstration
* Ask vets for some toothpaste!
* Get Vet to check discharge from Olis nose.
