Re: Very worried about Teddy

Alex - I know antibiotics have their individual course lenghts and that it's not normal to stay on them for a long time but surely if the probiotic 'poo medicine' is doing Teddie good she needn't come off them on Friday?
Glad the improvement is continuing

Re: Very worried about Teddy

The vet says to take her off it on friday and see how things go. He was waffling on about how she cant be on antibiotics etc for a long time (we are only talking a week here so far), TBH I'm thinking of changing vets if she deteriorates again when she comes off them.

We'll all be looking over your shoulder to see how Teddy(ie) goes along.
Nowt wrong with asking for a detailed reasoning from the vet as to why no more probiotics.

Re: Very worried about Teddy

Teddie had a good day today! Only 2 poos the whole day, which is the smallest amount ever. She and the others enjoyed a pet or two from Smudgley when she popped round (would have slipped Teddie into her pocket if she could have methinks). But all in all, another encouraging day!
