Re: Quiz - Wednesday 8th July

The crappiest thing is that we have had to cancel our break at Ragdale Hall-we were due on Sunday but Jen has to be ready for scans

Good question

I think he's curious more than anything. I don't think he'd take one on. We have pheasants and he usually just ignores them, so I'm hoping he is just making sure they're ok

OK the full list is:

Switzerland; Liechtenstein; Austria; Germany; France and Netherlands (of which Holland is a part)

I'm giving CM 6 points for that Q; 5 for DM and 4 for Steph.

That's a shame, but perhaps you could rearrange for another time?

Important thing is she gets a full investigation completed asap.

Re: Quiz - Wednesday 8th July

Q3. Any ideas about the origin of the word “strudl” or “strudel”?

He's a big cat, but these are good sized hens, and they can really really peck hard!

Merlin and Smudge never troubled my chooks when I had them - I think the first time one of the cats approached, the chickens ran towards them. Cats ran for it and never bothered them again!

No real idea. Strudle always reminds me of wraps so I'll guess something to do with wrapping or turning?
