Yes, DM and you all are right. I saw that "passerine" comes from the Latin for sparrow! Full definition is:

"Of or relating to birds of the order Passeriformes, which includes perching birds and songbirds such as the jays, blackbirds, finches, warblers, and sparrows."

Q4. In “The Owl and the Pussycat” by Edward Lear are the words “They dined on mince and slices of quince Which they ate with a runcible spoon.” What is a “runcible spoon”?

It's actually a sort of funny fork with curved prongs! I remember looking that up once when it came up in a crossword!
