It's all a bit weird because she is a GD brood as you know, so she has a litter of pups every year & she is well, not the most maternal shall we say. I mean she's ok, but that's it. But Smudge can suckle for as long as she likes & Carli is quite happy to lie there & let her. She's got no milk, but Smudge gets comfort from it. |

I think it is lovely to see Smudgley Claude still often suckles from Maud even though she has no milk I do think it is a comfort thing. |
