Ad sites

Anyone ever placed an ad on an on-line adsite?
I've just got half way through tapping in a 'wanted' ad for my kits...........and chickened out. I just don't want 'anyone' having access to me via phone or email.
So, am I just a wimp or does anyone else have misgivings?
I'm just going to look and wait for my kittens

Re: Ad sites

DM - you can set up a hotmail or yahoo account and remain pretty well anonymous. That way, only when you've spoken and thoroughly interrogated the respondents can you reveal additional information
. I have a yahoo email for that purpose alone.

Re: Ad sites

Yola thanks for that flash of brilliance. I've got a yahoo a/c so may use that, as long as I don't have to give a phone number.

Thought it might be good to get in early - find the litters before they're advertised/the pretty ones are taken!

Re: Ad sites

I know with the adtrader you are assigned a telephone number which diverts to your own number so that your personal numbers are not given out and people contacting you don not know your 'real numbers'. Seems a pretty good idea....

Re: Ad sites

Thanks Yola and Fran
Have grasped the nettle and DONE IT
(nobody go and send me junk messages - that wouldn't be nice! )
Have not offered payment but said I will make donation to cat charity. Thought that would sort out those just in it for money from those who didn't get their queen spayed quickly enough? What do you think?

Sit back and wait to be innundated with ginger boys now, I suppose!

Re: Ad sites

Nothing yet

..........but there do seem to be a few litters around the country so let's hope we get some in this area soon. I don't want to travel too far and stress out our new babes before we even start.
