Ziva

Thought I'd give you all an update on Ziva (rottie pup), she is 10 weeks old today. I had her to the vets on monday for her first jabs and a health check, she was a little stressed after travelling in the van, howled all the way there and back, as a result she was a little snappy at the vets.
The snappyness began to get worse as the week went on, I was thinking that she just didnt like me or that she was trying to assert herself in some way.
Anyway, her owner had her back to the vets this morning as she had been scratching at her ears, it seem she has irritated them by scratching. The vet couldnt see anything in her ears and there is no sign of infection. Poor little mite had been snappy coz her lugs were bothering her.
She has had two, one on one training sessions this week, one of which I attended today. She was really good bless her, we are concentrating on her recall and some sit, stand and downs, which I have to say I am very impressed with her and how she is responding.
She has spent the afternoon with me, playing in the garden and getting her used to cats. Bernie adores her, Eva is not at all sure and keeps a healthy distance. Bernie likes her best when she licks his face, he loves having his face washed.
Puppy classes begin in two weeks and I will also be attending those with the owner when I have the time .
Now for some pictures

Re: Ziva

She is growing isn't she? I have only ever seen docked Rotties before - they look so much better with a tail, but I expect that it could be a formidable weapon when she gets bigger!

Hope her ears have calmed down, poor lass.

Re: Ziva

She's a little belter, we are doing as much socialising as we can with her. I have a puppy pouch and have taken her out on one or two walks in that, so that she can see, hear traffic etc. But she weighs a bloody ton!!!

She was licking his face but then suddenly realised he had a shiney bell on his collar that she could chew, at which point we stopped her
