I'm bored

I'm bored..... I am on holiday and normaly this time of year I potter in the garden but the weather is against me. No one else is on holiday. Mom is still feeling poorly - so taking them out is out so to speak.
The dogs are in season and there is PARVO in the local parks so staying away.
I hate shopping so retail theraphy is not for me.
I can't even propell myself into sorting out the little bedroom it needs stripping before decorating. I know if I started I would be fine but can't get going.

Suggestions............please.

Re: I'm bored

Have a long bubble bath, with a pot of tea or a bar of chocolate or a glass of wine. Take a book or the radio. Then go and lie down for half an hour - if you sleep that's fine - then clip and paint your toenails.
Enjoy!

Re: I'm bored

Right I have decided I am going to get my hair cut. Or at least book an appointment for tomorrow my week is escaping me.
May go and have a look at a couple of show homes tomorrow too as I am considering a change or two decoration wise and would like to have some ideas and some of these showhomes have studies and would like to turn the little bedroom into a study type of thing.

Do something you'd do if you were a visitor not a resident? Go to a gallery, take a canal trip, go to the botanic gardens etc etc?

Re: I'm bored

OK when you've done what DM suggests,

*walk the dogs - pavement walk if you don't want to take them to the park.

*Brush the cat

*go to the chemist & buy a perm & some hair dye

*perm your hair

*dye your hair

*take photos of your toes & hair

*then have your tea

*by this time everyone will be back from work and on Catsey
