Hello from Cumbria, UK

Hello

My name is Helen and I live in Cumbria, UK.

Myself and my family are looking to get a kitten some time in the near future and that is the main reason I have joined this forum as there doesnt seem to be anywhere locally to buy Kittens these days!!!

Anyhow, I will browse the forum and hopefully speak again soon.

Helen

Hello Helen!

Do you have any cat rescues near where you live in beautiful Cumbria? I'd try that avenue first for your kitten. Good Luck!

Hi Helen, welcome to Catsey

I hope you find the perfect kitten for you very soon. As Angie says above, please do consider the Rescue Centres as they do wonderful work and usually have many cats and kittens waiting for a forever home.

Here are a couple of links to Rescues in your area that you may like to have a look at ..........

Good luck in your hunt, please let us know when you find your little kitten..

Re: Hello from Cumbria, UK

Thank you all very much for your kind welcome.

I contacted Cats Protection and I will be visiting two 6 week olds on Friday.

They are all black females.

Not had a cat since I was in my late teens so looking forward to bringing one home in a couple of weeks

Hi Helen, and welcome! Glad to hear your local CP is able to help. I know that many are currently overflowing with cats and kittens.
