Bomb scare B'ham Sat night

Well went out for the night tonight and came home early because the police evacuated the whole area around Broad Street B'ham. Very scary though as there were police "sniffer dogs" cheking out the cars down by where we had parked, before we were allowed down the road to the car.
We did consider leaving the car and getting the bus home but thought better of it since the incident in the week in London.

It seems on the news they have carried out a series of controlled explosions
and about 150-200 bars clubs resturants have been closed tonight - scary. But considering it was a Sat night in Broad Street everyone was very calm and orderly, while the police guided us back.

Thankfully no one has been hurt thank God.

Karen
