Re: Halfpenny Farm dog show.

Just a quick update between our open day and dig show we raised just over £2000. It was a good time to happen because our vet bills alone this month were £2500 due to a mess up with our large animal bill and lots of emergency tests with our small animal bill, so it was a bit of a relief to have money there although a but disappointing as we were hoping to use it towards some new housing.
Never mind, we have a stall at the Trinity Centre in Aberdeen on the 15th of September, a coffe morning planned ( no date set) and an auction of a few more expensive items.
The race is on to get prepared for winter as we have a new stable to build, re-build the goat pens and redo pig pens as the donkeys will now go where Kenny was. It's all go and thanks to a terrible summer the cost of hay, straw and animal feed is going to go up and up!

Glad your day was a success and every bit helps. It's a real shame with everyone feeling the pinch now. Let's pray for a mild winter.
