Fancy dress

What would you choose to wear for a fancy dress party?

Re: Fancy dress

If I had to choose something to wear it would probably be a clown's outfit.......it wouldn't matter if I made a fool of myself then!

Re: Fancy dress

Is it a costume we pick up from the hire shop, rather than something we have to concost ourselves?
OK, I'd like something simple, that won't stop me eating or talking (or possibly even dancing) ..... maybe I could be Marylin Monroe (platinum wig, red lippy, white pleated dress (and booster bra! )). Or Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, or Andy Pandy?
What does that show? Do I need therapy?

Re: Fancy dress

I've gone as ninja (dance-school), mountaineer (fancy-dress Friday at work), scuba-diver (school, **bad**idea as too hot!!) and mediaeval servant-girl (few random), so it would be one of those. I wouldn't have to make anything - hate sewing.

Re: Fancy dress

I think I'd opt for something like a romany gypsy or a flamenco dancer . . . all frilly and flouncy with hooped earrings and red lippy!!!
