4 badgers last night! We also have some young squirrels so our peanut bill is huge. They have managed to break into the feeder twice much to the annoyance of the woodpecker. We HOPE we have put it back together in such a way that they can't break into it- not convinced though.

I have found even so-called squirrel proof feeders aren't! Some of ours have been rewired, just to get some extra use from them because they unfortunately don't cost peanuts!

4 badgers! Wow - you'll have some wildlife unit asking to come and film in your garden.

Are they the American greys? They can break into almost anything; I have found one feeder after years of fruitless purchases, that is actually is squirrel proof (hee hee, at last ! ); will see if I can find it again on line. It gives me the greatest pleasure to foil the vermin!!

I'm not actually that fussed about the squirrels, I quite like them and at least they have better manners than London squirrels! We used to live near a park in London where the squirrels would demand nuts with menaces!
