Tucker came shopping...

We live just behind the local shops, there is shortcut through the shops and it takes literally a few mins to get there from our house, however this is locked up at 6pm and after that you have to walk the LONG way, which takes about 10 minutes.

Anyway I was on my way to the shop and Tucker was outside, he saw me going out and started to follow me. I tried telling him to go home but he was persistant, usually i'd take him back and put him inside, but the shops isn't far so I let him come as I knew he wouldn't get lost.

So he followed me right round to the shop, and tried to come inside! I picked him up and put him at the side of the door and went in the shop, it was just a quick takeaway run, and when I came back out I was surprised to see him sat where i'd left him waiting for me!

He then proceeded to 'show me the way home', looking back every few seconds to make sure I was still following.

BETTER TRAINED THAN ANY OF MY DOGS HE WAS!

That so reminds me of years ago when I used to live very near the local shop and one of my old cats (Jemima) used to come to the shops with me, wait outside and then follow me home again

I certainly didn't think he'd still be there when I came out! He was just sat there, then when he saw me come out he gave a little mew as if to say, 'we off home now?'
