I asked what the quote was so guessed that you had been to the vet! how do get all ths from what I posted???

I think it's very sad that rescues havent' been able to help or have come across as unhelpful. I would feel angry too if I found a cat and was turned away by rescue in what sounded like an unsympathetic way, I think their choice of words could have been better but the facts remain that rescues are full and having difficulty rehoming what they already have.
Is there any news on a possible new home for her at all? Have you tried posting her on some of the rescue/rehoming forums? There may be some one there that can help her.
With respect Elaine you havent read the thread at all.

SHE is NOT an IT! You are so uncaring its untrue. She has seen a Vet do you think I did the bloods myself? You guessed wrong about us wanting rescue to pay for everything, you assumed. Which rescue do you help with?

I'm sorry Dawn but that's just not true, Trick IS a VERY caring person and having re-read the thread for a 3rd time, I cannt see where she has judged you or made the assumptions that you say she has.

I would also agree that Trick is a very caring person.

You didn't state, until after Trick had replied, that the cat had been to a vet- I also assumed she hadn't seen a vet- so how were we supposed to know.

You all think what you like, her posts are enough for me thank you.

Her tone stinks and is typical of those shared by some of the most dreadful attitudes I have ever met concerning the welfare of an elderly Cat.

Im just glad I never approached her, but would like to know which (if any) rescue she helps with.

Thanks. Ill not bother with updates, this one has shocked me intensely.
