Leo.....and the bird.............

He goes out everynight for a pee, then comes straight back in, lastnight he was sitting on the path and would not come when I called him, went out, and he was looking at a finch which was huddled up in front of him, picked the bird up, it was not injured, but very cold....(It was 1 here lastnight)put it in a cat box for the night, this morning it was chirrping away merrily, put in on my hand open the door, it thought about it for a minute, then flew away .
Leo has never hurt a bird, in fact he sleeps in the livingroom sometimes, with the budgies cage door open, and has never bothered them...

Elaine, can't you picture what would happen if either of our two girls came upon a slightly dazed and cold bird right in front of them......

He was one lucky bird, if it had been Merlin, Chancer, Oliver or Casper he would not have stood a chance....

Please give Leo a "good boy" cuddle from me. So glad the little bird was OK.

Sweet boy!
Isn't it odd - some of them are crazy hunters, some wouldn't dream of it. I have one of each
