Thursday daily

Good morning Pamela and Shelley,
Gosh, Thursday already and I'm slowly getting through this horrid week I spent the day cleaning floors and trying to keep busy. i find I can't concentrate on reading yet but Janna went down to the library this morning and got me a talking book by Mary Higgins Clark. I'll go to bed early tonight and instead of crying , I'll listen to that book and see if it helps. Dickens has been picked up from the vet now and is at Loving Tributes. They will return him to me soon.

Snoddy has been weeing all over the house today. He won't use the cat litter that I've got, but i can't get the one he likes at any shop or online. At least the others are using the litter ,but they're not happy about it either.

Cats have been outside tonight but only stayed outside for around 10 minutes as it was too cold for them. They're all lying in the lounge now ,under the heat pump.

I'm going out to Wigram tomorrow, to the big New World supermarket to see if they've got any soft cat litter out there. This one I've got now is too gravely and it hurts their paws.My poor babies have very soft paws

PAMELA, not sure if you're working today or not, but if you are, hope you're not going to be working too hard. Did you manage to get your friend on your team yet ? I hope so. Brenna is having a bit of trouble with her pup, Stanley, as he is becoming very reactive towards other dogs, especially when he is leashed. Jared has been taking him to the dog park daily to let him socialise with other dogs but when he is running off lead, he runs away from other dogs and is afraid. He's coming up 5 months now. Brenna is thinking of sending him out with a dog walker to see if that will help. Problem is, they live a long way out in the country and Stanley doesn't see any other dogs. I told her that you also have a Springer Spaniel and may suggest some solution to the problem. Do you think going out with a dog walker and his/her other dogs might help ? If you can think of anything, please can you let me know, as she's getting desperate.

SHELLEY, that 70's outfit sounds great. You must have really looked the part. I really like the idea of the floppy hat.I'm glad that Malaika and Kwame saw the vet and are now getting treated for ear mites. I know how the pups feel about the ear drops though. Willow had ear mites too, and she hated the drops and would draw her lips back and show her teeth when I put them in .She knew better than to snarl at me though, although she would have done so if Janna had been putting them in. Mites are meant to be very irritating, so the drops might be painful. Hopefully they won't need the drops for much longer. Poor Kwame screaming like that. He must be uncomfortable. I'm sure he's not a drama queen - he's just letting you know it's sore.

Well ladies, I'm off to eat my falafel souvlaki(sorry about the spelling) Janna has just bought home one for each of us, from the mall. No cooking for me tonight.

Have a good Thursday Pamela and Shelley and thanks for all your support at this time.
