Lump between shoulder blades

Morning everyone,

Discovereda lump between Skyes shoulder blades last night and a bit worried about it. Ive done a wee bit of reading about it and it could be a reaction to the boosters she had last week. I can move it about when i touch it and it doesnt seem to be bothering her. Going to get her booked in at the vets for monday evening to get it checked.

Just wanted to see if anyone else had any experience with this?

Re: Lump between shoulder blades

I suspect that it is a reaction to her jab and it should disperse. Quite often I get a little lump as a reaction to the 'flu jab, and I expect it's a similar thing with cats. I would try not to worry about it and enjoy your w/end. Here's hoping when you get home it will have gone.

I agree with Angie, obviously keep an eye on it but hopefully it will have gone down by Monday and you might not need that vet appointment.

Pamela,
i too bet it's caused by the booster. Lets hope it's disapeared before Monday.

A wee update on Skyes lump, Its definitely gotten smaller to the extent that you can only feel it if you are looking for it now as opposed to feeling it a soon as you petted her back, really pleased that it seems to be disapearing

That's the best thing .... our little angels do get stressed going to the vet, don't they? I'm sure the little lump will be gone soon.
