Re: How old...

Phoned the vets, and they can't fit both in on the same day till after xmas, but they are going to squeeze Abi in tomorrow, as they don't think it's fair to make her wait over xmas feeling/acting like she is!
It's odd she is in season in winter too!

Re: How old...

glad your vets can squeeze her in

my cats were done
Bella aged 2
Trouble 5/6 months
strife was 1 year

Magic would have been done at 6 months but she was too light so had to wait until she got to the 2kg's in weight which meant she was a year before she got done

I forgot to mention Leia was 5 months when she had her op. Patches had been spayed before I rehomed her.

Re: How old...

Abi was spayed today, she's settled on the sofa now, nice and quiet.
Nice scar, internal stitches, £35!

Re: How old...

mine werent done until they were over a year. i was in no rush because they are both female and were at the time house cats.

but myrtle kept trying to get out, and in then end, nana accidentally let her out when she was in season, so we ended up with kittens after that they were booked straight in, and i had them both done.

but i would say i would get yours done now seeing as you have mixed sexes. just to be on the safe side.

Re: How old...

Well, Abi has healed nicely, just for her fur to grow back now!
Trouble is being neutered on Monday, and Josh and James are having their first vaccs!
They will be neutered when they are old enough
